I got a lot of things done in week 6. Some of the accomplishments I had of week 6, was being able to cut out, and glue some of the pictures of the Fast Food Restaurants. The Fast Food restaurants I glued to were In-N-Out, and Taco Bell. For the In-N-Out paper, I put a red paper underneath, and it showed about 2 inches on each side. Moving onto the Taco Bell one, I put a blue paper behind it with an interesting cut. Some of the struggles I had for the week was cutting out the paper in a straight line, such as the paper behind the fast food picture. One of the adjustments I made to keep myself on track was to my bring my Tri-Fold home. I thought I would have enough time to finish it in class, but I was wrong so I brought it home. I left off on finishing glueing all of my pictures to my Tri-Fold.
20% Week 5 Tri-Fold
In week 5, I worked on my Tri-Fold. I finished all my slides with the information, so now I am starting to work on my Tri-Fold. I finished writing my title, which stated, “Fast Food” and I made the “food” part go vertically down instead of straight to try something different. I also added a cheeseburger, with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, patty, and sauce. Some struggles of week 5, was trying to keep the stencils still. I had a hard time with this because my pencil keeps moving the stencils, causing random lines, and more. One adjustment I made was the way the writing of the title. I did not have enough room to put the word “food” and had to sort of adjust the way I wrote it, but it turned out just fine. I left off on the top of the Tri-Fold mostly being complete, but I still need to add color, details, and more.
Favorite memories
I have had a lot of great memories from this year. One of my three favorite memories at school was the first day of seventh grade, because that is when I found out who was in my classes, and it was very fun. Another one of favorite memories, was when we did the knight at the museum. I was with my friends, and I had a great time. My last favorite memory from this year, was the day before spring break, because everyone was happy and there was a good mood.
Rad Reading – April
In the month of April, I read the book Percy Jackson and the Olympians, wrote by Rick Roirdan. I am currently not done with the book, but on page 250. This book is about a young boy, around the age of 12. Who is a very troubled boy. He has been to many different schools, and has one friend. That friend is a kid named Grover. Throughout the story, Percy (the main character.) Finds out on how he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon. He goes to a camp named, “Camp Half-Blood.” This is full of people who are different like Percy, and some are even the children of Greek gods. Percy goes on a phenomenal quest to try and find Zeus’s lighting bolt. I like this book, because it is very fun, and exciting. It has adventures, creatures, and more. My favorite character so far is Grover. He has always been there for Percy, and will never give up on him. For example, in chapter, Grover convinces Percy to go on the quest. This shows how supportive Grover is. One of my favorite quotes from the story is on page 59, the words are stated, “Being a half-blood is dangerous.” This shows how each and everyone of the people at camp half-blood, know that it is dangerous, but still stay.
Mother’s Day
My mom is very important to me. She has always cared for me ever since I was born. She has made countless amounts of meals for me, bought me countless items, and more. Some of my favorite things about her, is the way she makes me more happy. When something happens and I am very sad, she always makes me feel better. One of my memories with her that I will never forget, is when we spent the weekend together. My dad and sister were out of town, so me and my mom watched movies, played games, and more.
20% Project – Finishing slides
In week 4 of my 20% project, I have finished all my slides. I picked up on finishing my remaining two slides. Some of the accomplishments I have had for the week was being able to be able to finish my slides. The only remaining things I have to do on my slides, is add some finishing touches. Some of the struggles I had for the week, was to be able to go to Chick-Fil-A, and not quite remembering what the chicken sandwich tasted like, but I got some opinions from other people and then remembered what it tasted like. One of the adjustments I made was to keep myself on track, was to go to Taco Bell to refresh my memory of the most popular item in the menu. I left off on finishing all my slides, and I know I need to start my Tri-Fold for week 5. I will be adding how the food tasted, and what could be improved on in the quality of the food.
20% Week 3 Experience
In my twenty percent project week three, I went to del taco and had the most popular items on the menu. Which is called, “The Del Taco.” In my slide that I continued working on. I wrote down how my experience was with the value, how good the ingredients were inside of the food, and the flavor of the food. One of my Accomplishments was to be able to get two slides done. I have five slides, such as Del Taco, Taco Ball, Canes, Chick-Fil-A, and In-N-Out. I have Canes, and Del Taco finished. I did not have any struggles of the week, and consider this week very successful. I also did not have any adjustments made in week three, everything went according to plan. I left off on me needing to do three other slides. These slides will be very easy, because I have had a lot of food from In-N-Out, Chick-Fil-A, and Taco Bell. I will start on Chick-Fil-A, because I just had it on tuesday.
20% Week 2 Fast Food
In week 2, I found the fast food places most popular food items, and named what was in it. Some of my accomplishments of the week was me not having to change much in my plan, except for a little something. The only difficult change I had to make, was changing the grading for the fast food places. I thought about a lot of different ways of grading, but I finally came down to one solution. The only adjustments I had made, was be more open minded on incoming thoughts. Such as my friends telling me ideas on how to grade the fast food places, and how much they like the food compared to me. This gave me more helpful thoughts and ideas. I left off on naming all of the food in the most popular items on the different food menus. For example, I named things like chicken tenders, fries, and more. So in conclusion, I had a successful second week on my 20% project.
Favorite Room
My favorite room in my home is my room. My room, is comfortable and fun. Some of the fun things I can do in my room is play my Xbox, sleep, and more. I like my room more than other rooms, because I feel good in my room. My worries go away, and Im not stressed. I have a queen sized bed, posters, a desk, a dresser, a closet, and way more. The three lights I mostly use in my room is my fan light, my lamp, and my closet light. Another light I have, are my LED lights under my desk. These give a nice feature to my room, making it warm, and comfortable.
20% Week 1 Points
In week one, I made how many points each requirement needed. One of the requirements is to have the food delivered to me under ten minutes. Each requirement is two points, and I have five requirements. This would mean that if the fast food place had all of the five requirements met, the fast food place would get ten points. The only struggle I had was figuring out how the points were going to be, and what were the requirements. One of the adjustments I had, was making slides with all different Fast food places in each slide. I also wasn’t going to put the most popular food items, but I ended up doing that. After putting all of the popular food items, I put if they had any drinks that they made, not like soda, but such as a mixture of different drinks. I left off on putting all of the fast food places I am going to, what to eat, and more.
